Being a HQ Volunteer is knowing that you are part of something special, and you are making a different to change the world of Extreme Sports. We want our volunteers to feel passionately about She Flies and the team around them. Our volunteers meet virtually every fortnight and access many benefits such as:

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy on Instagram (with brief coverage on LinkedIn and Facebook) to engage our brilliant community, and drive traffic to our events. You will create and curate compelling content, manage campaigns, and work with the general manager to plan event marketing content. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about using social media to connect with our target audience. Those without social media experience but a desire to learn are very welcome.

CAMPAIGN MANAGER

You are energetic, creative and excited about bringing the confidence levels up for Women in sport. As campaign manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our campaigns to help women unleash their bold and courageous. This could be the She Flies Movie, talks in local Schools, Global initiatives. You will manage campaigns, the marketing of them and success of them, working closely with the social media manager and general manager. Those without experience in this space can apply, we are simply looking for passion, organisation, creativity and general ownership.

GENERAL MANAGER | applications now closed

We have a hugely exciting opportunity as we seek a dynamic, passionate and ambitious General Manager to lead our beautiful operations and work alongside the Founder. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the social enterprise; including trip planning, promotion campaigns, community engagement and our volunteer team.

 

You will work alongside our volunteer team to drive growth, help the Camp Hosts deliver our well established trips and uphold our commitment to unleash bold and courageous women.

What you are looking for:
This role presents an invaluable opportunity for an individual looking to learn to lead, develop their managerial skills and trial out business responsibility in a safe space. The role will provide a springboard to anyone considering one day owning their own business by learning the inner workings of a social enterprise and the balance of costs and spend in a not-for-profit organisation.

Experience:

The perfect candidate has:

  • Strong organisational skills

  • A proactive and creative approach

  • Experience in project management

  • Strong communication and personable skills

  • Experience (at any level) as a Kitesurfer, Wakeboarders or other similar sports - preferred

​

The role is a Part time role – with the expectation of 5 hours a week which fluctuates during quiet / busy periods.
